Advanced Manufacturing Pathway
Brief DescriptionStudents interested in Advanced Manufacturing (AM) can take a planned program of study to prepare for a career in AM. The program of study includes a partnership with Housatonic Community College where students can currently earn 5 credits toward the Advanced Manufacturing Certificate Program and a partnership with the Workplace where students can register for a pre-apprentice program at the age of 16.

The Workplace will provide training and pre-apprentice placement for students interested in Advanced Manufacturing. The Workplace is also offering to pay for students required clothing (like boots) and transportation (bus passes and / or driver's education). This is a new partnership and we are currently seeking interested high school participants for this program.
